"Long, long, long" von den Beatles (George Harrison)
"It's been a long long long time,
How could I ever have lost you
When I loved you
It took a long long long time
Now I'm happy I found you
How I love you
So many tears I was searching
So many tears I was wasting, oh. Oh -
Now I can see you, be you
How can I ever misplace you
How I want you
Oh I love you
You know that I need you.
Ooh I love you.

Dust in the Wind

In jedem Fall:
Genießen, entspannen, Ruhe finden.
-ytaneo sigato,
med' astra phasesphora lampesthon
potamon rhothion pasai
hymnounton d'hemon patera k'hyion k'hagion pneuma
pasai dynameis epiphounounton Amen Amen
kratos, ainos aei kai doxa theoi
doteri monoi panton agathon. Amen Amen
(Versuch einer deutschen Übersetzung)
... es soll ruhig werden
die leuchtenden Sterne nicht scheinen
alle rauschenden Flüsse still werden

The Oxyrhynchus hymn (or P. Oxy. XV 1786) is the earliest known manuscript of a Christian hymn to contain both lyrics and musical notation. This papyrus fragment was unearthed in 1918 and the discovery was first published in 1922. The hymn was written down around the end of the 3rd century AD. The musical notation may imply the use of instruments.
The text, in Greek, poetically invokes silence so that the Holy Trinity may be praised.
The music is written in Greek vocal notation. It is entirely diatonic, with an ambitus of exactly an octave from F to F an octave above, and a final nominally on G
It is often considered the only fragment of Christian music from ancient Greece, although Kenneth Levy has persuasively argued that the Sanctus melody best preserved in the Western medieval Requiem mass dates from the 4th century.

Alison Krauss: A living prayer
Das musikalische Konzept: Klarheit, musizieren in der Haltung "It´s not about me".
In this world I walk alone
With no place to call my home
But there's one who holds my hand
The rugged road through barren lands
The way is dark, the road is steep
But He's become my eyes to see
The strength to climb, my griefs to bear
The Savior lives inside me there
In Your love I find release
A haven from my unbelief
Take my life and let me be
A living prayer, my God to Thee
In these trials of life I find
Another voice inside my mind
He comforts me and bids me live
Inside the love the Father gives
In Your love I find release
A haven from my unbelief
Take my life and let me be
A living prayer, my God to Thee
Take my life and let me be
A living prayer, my God to Thee
(vom Album: Alison Krauss and Union Station, "Lonely Runs Both Ways", Rounder 2004)

All kinds of roses (x2)
All kinds of roses, grow in my garden,
All kinds of creatures (x2)
All kinds of creatures, run on my land,
All kinds of children (x2)
All kinds of children, play in my yard,
So many feelings, so many feelings, flow through my blood
All kinds of people (x2)
All kinds of people, make up my life,
All kinds of faces (x2)
All kinds of faces, show me their love,
All kinds of lanterns (x2)
All kinds of lanterns, light up the dark,
But there's only one God, only one God, has a place in my heart
All kinds of roses (x2)
All kinds of roses, grow in my garden
All kinds of roses (x2)
All kinds of roses, grow in my garden,
All kinds of creatures (x2)
All kinds of creatures, run on my land,

Hier zwei Versionen
1. Das Original vom Album, zauberhafte Begleitung.
If it be your will
That I speak no more
And my voice be still
As it was before
I will speak no more
I shall abide until
I am spoken for
If it be your will
If it be your will
That a voice be true
From this broken hill
I will sing to you
From this broken hill
All your praises they shall ring
If it be your will
To let me sing
From this broken hill
All your praises they shall ring
If it be your will
To let me sing
If it be your will
If there is a choice
Let the rivers fill
Let the hills rejoice
Let your mercy spill
On all these burning hearts in hell
If it be your will
To make us well
And draw us near
And bind us tight
All your children here
In their rags of light
In our rags of light
All dressed to kill
And end this night
If it be your will

Hier zwei Versionen:
1. Eine Live-Konzert-Aufnahme von 1984
2. Eine Cover-Version der wunderbaren Emmylou Harris.
